Science Students' Association International Student Scholarship is aimed at providing support to outstanding students entering or enrolled in the Honours BSc in Biopharmaceutical Science,Joint Honours BSocSc in Mathematics and Economics,Joint Honours BSc in Mathematics and Economics,Honours BSc in Biochemistry,Honours BSc in Biochemistry / BASc in Chemical Engineering (Biotechnology) from University of Ottawa in Canada. This award can be awarded to Multiple candidates. This scholarship can be used primarily towards tuition. University offers the merit-based scholarship which amounts to CAD 500 and offered on a yearly basis.

Eligibility

• The applicant must:
  • be registered full-time in an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Science of the University of Ottawa
  • be registered for the upcoming Fall term;
  • be an international student; and
  • be in good academic standing

Preference will be given to following candidates:

• To award scholarships to deserving Faculty of Science student

Application Process for this scholarship

• Applications must be made through Online Scholarships and Bursaries, which can be accessed through https://scholarships.uottawa.ca , and should include:
  • a non-official copy of the applicant's transcript; and 
  • a letter from the applicant (max. 500 words) detailing their experience as an international student at the University of Ottawa, and why they chose to pursue studies in science at the University of Ottawa.
