Eligibility

  • Scholarship Criteria:
    • A campus visit or video visit is required to be awarded this scholarship.\
  • Applicants will be considered for this scholarship upon admission to the university. Following is the general admission requirement for the applicants to fulfill:
    • The applicant must have graduated from a high school accredited by a regional accrediting agency, a state department of education or the equivalent
    • Although no set pattern of courses is required for admission, a well-prepared candidate will have had from 15 to 18 units in English, social sciences, mathematics, foreign language and laboratory science. 
    • Those who plan to major in one of the natural sciences, mathematics, computer science, business administration or engineering will find a strong mathematics background helpful.
  • As the course eligibility varies from course to course, students need to check the course pages and fulfill them.
  • English language requirements:
    • TOEFL - A minimum score of 70 on the Internet-based (iB) test is required for full admission.
    • IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 6.0 is required for full admission.
    • Duolingo English Test (DET) - A minimum score of 105 is required for full admission.
    • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE)- A minimum score of 50 is required for full admission.
  • English Language Proficiency Waiver:
    • Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) - A minimum SAT ERW score of 480 is required for full admission.
    • IB English A - HL - A minimum score of 4 in English A HL is required for full admission.
