  • The Adrienne and Donna Pocock Memorial Award was established in honour of the late Adrienne Pocock, a conscientious environmentalist devoted to grassroots care and concern for her world.
  • The award will be given annually to graduate students in the Faculty of Environmental & Urban Change to support resources and/or travel related to their fieldwork. The award of winter of 2006 was granted to a student whose area of focus encompassed the Canadian environment and the award continues to be intended for students whose work incorporates consideration of Canada, children, animals or aboriginal issues in relationship to the environment.
