York University Fees, Duration & Entry Requirements 2024
York University admits international students through three intake seasons, namely Fall, Winter and Summer. Students must note that York University's eligibility shall vary from course to course.
Undergraduate Programs:
- To take admission into the UG courses of York University, students must meet these requirements: All-India Senior School Certificate Examination / AISSCE or Higher Secondary Certificate / HSC or Indian School Certificate / ISC or Intermediate Examination Certificate or Pre-University Examination Certificate
Graduate Programs:
- The grade equivalent is based on a mid-B standing only. Note that the selected program may require a higher grade. The GPA is assessed over the last two years of UG study or if you have a master’s degree, the authorities will use the highest level of education to calculate the GPA
- Master’s degree requirements: A bachelor’s (three-year) degree and a master’s or bachelor’s degree requires four years of study (for some programs) from a post-secondary institute
- Doctorate degree requirements: Most Ph.D programs at York University require students to have a master’s degree such as M.Eng., M.Phil, M.Arch., M.Agri, M.Agri, M.Pharm, M.Tech, etc. The applicant’s GPA is assessed using all available master’s level grades from a post-secondary institute
