• The Howard Daugherty International Graduate Award in Neotropical Conservation is available to international, visa graduate students, preferably doctoral candidates, at the Faculty of Environmental & Urban Change, York University, to support their research related to neotropical conservation that is undertaken in the vicinity of the Las Nubes Biological Reserve in Costa Rica and/or that contributes to meeting the goals of the Las Nubes Project

Eligibility

• Must be a Master's or doctoral student with
  (a) Research related to Neotropical conservation that is undertaken in the vicinity of the Las Nubes Biological Reserve in Costa Rica;
  (b) Research that contributes to meeting the goals of the Las Nubes Project
• Recipients must have a minimum “B” average (GPA 6.00) and must demonstrate financial need.
• Criteria
  • (a) Research related to Neotropical conservation that is undertaken in the vicinity of the Las Nubes Biological Reserve in Costa Rica, and/or that contributes to meeting the goals of the Las Nubes Project.
    (b) Academic accomplishments;
    (c) Financial need

Preference will be given to following candidates:
