Welcoming and friendly campus.
Tips: Need to be very open minded when it comes to NUS or Singapore in general. Hands on experience especially in AI or software engineering, would be beneficial. In this course, they won't start teaching from scratch, so the more experience anyone have better it is. Finding a job is not easy, so it's a long and tiring process too.

Very ambitious yet out of touch with reality.
Tips: There will be a major cultural shift since this is abroad need to find the right people and right environment to prosper. I did avail a scholarship that helped me pay for the dorm I got and some groceries, etc. I had to work to afford the transportation though.
Likes (Public transportation): Transportation is great public buses and trains available when needed. Some transport may not be available at certain times. Taxi and other services exist but not very cost effective. Especially late night in outskirts might be quieter than some other parts of the town.
Dislikes (Value for money): Haven't recovered the money from working yet, and opportunities aren't great there due to the population. The living cost is a significant amount even with a scholarship. Takes years to pay back. I'm still in debt even after working for 8 years. Very frustrating since I cannot go into more debt.
