- Master's degree: Admission without requirements/conditions is usually granted to holders of a Bachelor of Science in Nanosciences from the University of Basel. Admission for all other prospective students is granted by the Rectorate at the request of the examination committee
- Admission requires proof of a bachelor's degree of 180 credit points, which is equivalent to the Bachelor of Science in Nanosciences from the University of Basel
- After registering with the Study Secretariat, the responsible examination committee will carry out a technical examination of the dossiers. If a bachelor's degree is only partially recognized by the faculty as equivalent, admission to the master's degree can be granted with the requirement to make up credit points (up to a maximum of 60 credits) from the bachelor's degree program. The study secretariat will then communicate the decision in writing
