American University in Dubai Admissions 2026: Requirements, Application Deadlines & Fees

As per many unofficial sources, the American University in Dubai has been called moderately selective with an acceptance rate between 60 to 65%. 

The university focuses on the academic potential of an individual and the factors like the high school GPA, English language proficiency and standardized tests are considered. 

Yes, it is important for Indian students to show English language proficiency for the American University in Dubai. 

These students would be required to take an Academic IELTS for the same. A band score of 6.5 would be required for both the UG and PG courses at AUD.

Other than IELTS, to prove the English language proficiency, the students can submit the English exams given below - 

• TOEFL with 79+
• EmSAT with 1550+

The American University Dubai follows a rolling admissions policy for Indian students. This means that the applications at this university are reviewed as soon as they are received.

Yes, there is an application fee required for Indian students to apply at the American University Dubai. This fee is AED 420 (INR 10.4K) for the UG applicants and it is payable to start the online application process at AUD.

Applicants residing outside the UAE can pay this fee directly through a credit card. If there is a selection, the students will also be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of AED 5,000 (INR 1.24L).
