Best learning experience

Tips: I'm quite satisfied with my academic progress, and college generally seems to position students well. I got 20% as a basis that my Bachelors academic scores are above 8 CGPA. Based on the courses I'm learning, it is really helpful for my career and job life.

Likes (Post study jobs): Because, as if you still don't have any experience, college always shows you how to get a placement. I go to my internship in the morning, which is paid, and college is in the evening so that I can manage my time accordingly. You have none of the clubs here to join.

Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is always available to provide guidance. The teaching is very interactive, and you will get a lot of practical experience. I can say the faculty here are from different countries and are very friendly and interactive. It is fun to study here.

Good if someone ready to work hard

Tips: I didn't end up getting a scholarship myself, even though I tried pretty hard to find one. I was really crossing my fingers for it at first, but things just didn't pan out. Honestly, it's pretty much a mix of pure luck and having insane grades, so I'd definitely tell people not to get their hopes up too much.

Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation in the United Arab Emirates is very good and convenient. Students have 50% concession on travel. Both metro and buses It is very convenient for all, and the safety and quality of living are really good. My overall experience is 8/10.

Dislikes (Value for money): Honestly the steep tuition fees are only worth it if the course actually delivers the good stuff like real skills, hands-on learning, and professors who know what they're doing. At the end of the day, whether you get your money's worth really comes down to the kind of job opportunities you get after graduating, how safe you feel on campus, and if you actually walk away with a solid return on your investment.

Golden period of life in the dubai

Tips: The absolute most important thing to know before coming here is definitely how the scholarship rules work. You can get a solid 20% to 25% merit discount based on your 12th-grade board marks, which honestly helps out a ton. But there’s a major catch you have to look out for: you can only apply that discount to either your tuition or your hostel fees. You aren't allowed to double-dip and get both. As for moving out to Dubai, I didn't really face any crazy transition period or heavy culture shock. Honestly, I’m super happy with the specific engineering branch I picked. The campus itself feels incredibly safe and well-regulated and living in Dubai has just been an awesome experience overall. It’s a great setup if you’re looking for solid academics mixed with that whole global city lifestyle.

Likes (Post study jobs): rated this highly because Dubai is a massive commercial hub, and the campus placement cell actually connects you with companies that are willing to sponsor work visas for fresh graduates. You aren't just limited to one track either; there's a really solid mix of roles coming to campus. You see a lot of openings for business analysts, financial analysts, operations, and supply chain management, along with plenty of corporate sales and marketing positions. When it comes to the starting pay, the salary packages are pretty decent for entry-level roles in the UAE. The typical starting salary ranges from around 5,000 to 7,000 AED per month for standard roles but if you land a spot at one of the top-tier companies or a more specialized analytical role it can jump up to 10,000 or even 13,000 AED a month. Having that kind of immediate corporate footprint right after graduating makes the investment completely worth it.

Dislikes (Student Life): I gave Student Life a lower rating because even though the big events are amazing, day-to-day campus life can feel like a massive grind. Don't get me wrong, when festivals like Jalsa happen, or during major events like the International Conference and ArchiBITS, the campus completely comes alive. The student-run clubs do a great job organizing a solid mix of cultural and technical activities that are honestly a lot of fun to hang out at. The problem is the balance. BITS has an incredibly intense academic schedule with constant quizzes and assignments, which leaves you with very little downtime to actually enjoy those clubs. On top of that, because the campus is out in Academic City, you're pretty isolated from the main, vibrant hubs of Dubai. Unless you have a car or want to spend a lot on cabs, your daily routine is mostly stuck between the hostel, the food court, and the library. So while the headline events are fantastic, the regular, day-to-day student life feels a bit restricted and overwhelming.
