Best Experience with Supportive Faculty
Tips: Campus life out here keeps you pretty busy, and honestly, you get out what you put into it. There are always technical events, coding competitions, and different student clubs or cultural fests happening around the university, which are actually a great excuse to shake off the academic stress and work on your communication skills. When it comes to landing a job or an internship in the UAE, the university doesn't just leave you to figure it out alone. They run a lot of career counseling and resume-building sessions, and they do mock interviews to help you prepare for actual placement drives. It's a huge help, but you still have to be proactive about networking and putting yourself out there during the internship cycles if you want to snag a good role before graduating.

Great Learning Experience .
Tips: Before signing up for the cybersecurity and info-sec program here, you need to know that it is heavily hands-on. They don't just make you memorize textbooks; you're going to be spending a lot of time grinding through practical lab sessions, intense assignments, and actual projects to build up your technical skills. It can get demanding, but it’s exactly what prepares you for real-world security jobs. The other major piece of advice is to not just sit in the back of the class—you really need to network. Building solid relationships with your professors and classmates makes a massive difference out here in Ras Al Khaimah. It changes the entire vibe of your degree, gives you people to lean on when the coursework gets tough, and honestly opens up way better connections for internships and jobs later on.

BBA in Fintech & Digital Banking - Batch of 2023

Best college for BBA in Fintech and digital marketing
Tips: The course combines finance with modern technology. It offers practical learning, industry exposure, and updated subjects. Students gain the skills needed to build successful careers in the banking and fintech sectors. The campus has SMART classrooms, computer labs, Wi-Fi, and a library.
Likes (Indian Food): I rated it high because the Indian food situation out here in RAK is amazing—you basically never feel homesick. Since there’s a huge Indian crowd in the area, you’re surrounded by cheap, authentic spots right near campus. You can easily grab a proper thali, paranthas, or just a cutting chai for next to nothing. Most of these local cafeterias cook specifically for students, so the taste and spice levels are exactly like back home, not some watered-down version. Plus, if you're stuck studying for exams, you can just hop on Talabat and get a cheap biryani sent right to your room. Honestly, the food scene is easily a major highlight of being here.
Dislikes (Value for money): Honestly, the fees are just way too high for what you're actually getting in return—that’s the main reason my value rating is so low. Look, the faculty is great, no complaints on that front. The professors genuinely know their stuff when it comes to finance or the digital banking side of things, and they’re always around if you need help. But when you’re paying this much to study out in Ras Al Khaimah, you expect a state-of-the-art campus and major corporate links. Instead, the facilities are pretty basic and the placements are underwhelming. The teachers do what they can, but the actual university infrastructure just doesn't justify what you're shelling out.

A Rewarding College Journey with Excellent Learning and Career Opportunities
Tips: Before heading to JNU RAK, just know the academic support is solid and the faculty really know their stuff, but nobody is going to hold your hand. You have to stay on top of your own projects and figure out how to balance your classes with a normal life. Adjusting to the UAE education system and classroom style definitely took me a minute, but the campus community is welcoming enough that you adapt quickly. Price-wise I managed to snag a merit scholarship just by sending over my grades which takes a good chunk off the tuition. Looking back the practical exposure and career setups here have made the whole move entirely worth it.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I gave permanent settlement a 4 mostly because the job market, lifestyle, and work-life balance are great, plus there’s a fairly straightforward path to staying long-term if you have the right background. Still, dealing with the visa system is a massive headache. It's incredibly competitive, rules change all the time, and the paperwork takes forever. I think my chances of actually staying are pretty good, as long as I can rack up enough local work experience after graduating and keep my CV in good shape. Being in a field where companies are desperate for people changes everything. Honestly, if things work out, I’d love to stay permanently just for the better career path and lifestyle. But it’s definitely not a no-brainer. At the end of the day, it's still going to depend on my long-term goals and, honestly, how things are looking with my family back home.

A Great Learning Experience with Excellent Student Life and Career Opportunities .
Tips: Just a heads up before you commit here and nobody is going to hold your hand. Seriously. Managing your time and staying on top of your own schedule is a massive deal. Especially since the courses are super practical. They rely way more on continuous assignments than big final exams, so you literally cannot afford to just slack off. Try to cram everything the night before it's due and you're cooked. Also, get ready for some serious culture shock. The campus is crazy diverse. Like, you’re going to be dealing with people from pretty much every single corner of the earth. If you want to survive and actually have a good time, you’ve got to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Talk to people from day one. Working on your communication skills and keeping an open mind? Yeah, that isn't just some nice bonus here—it’s honestly a survival trait.
Likes (Student Life): I gave student life a solid 5 because the campus vibe is honestly amazing and there’s always something happening outside of classes. On a normal day you’re basically bouncing between lectures, hiding out in the library or study pods to get work done and just chilling with friends around campus. The best part by far is how multicultural the place is. You meet people from literally all over the world, and just chatting with everyone makes the whole university experience way more interesting. The uni is always throwing some kind of event too—whether it’s a random cultural festival, a sports tournament, hackathons, or career fairs. I try to show up to as much stuff as I can since it’s the easiest way to actually make friends and build up some confidence. There’s a ton of student-run clubs as well, covering everything from coding and entrepreneurship to music, photography, and sports. Joining them is a massive help because it instantly gives you a proper community and a break from the constant studying.
Dislikes (Part time work): I gave part-time work a 4 because while there’s definitely a decent amount of jobs out there, trying to juggle a shift schedule with a brutal exam week or a massive assignment deadline is incredibly stressful. Finding something on campus is pretty tough since those library, desk, or cafeteria gigs are super competitive and get snapped up immediately. Off-campus is usually your best bet. Most people I know end up working in retail, waiting tables, doing delivery runs or doing some casual tutoring on the side just to make ends meet. The opportunities are definitely there you just have to be smart about managing your time so your grades don't tank.

Practical learning and a supportive campus experience for Fintech and Digital Marketing students
Tips: If you're thinking about joining this course just know you really have to be ready to think on your feet and actually speak up in class. It’s definitely not the kind of place where you can just sit back and cruise. The regular assignments and hands-on projects hit you pretty fast. But honestly? It’s a perfect fit if you want to merge finance with all the digital business trends happening right now. I’m seriously glad I chose this path. Honestly, studying over here in the UAE gives you a really solid mix of theory and actual, hands-on exposure. It's exactly what you need to get a proper head start on your career later on.
