A Supportive Campus with a Good Academic Experience
Tips: Students should be ready for a new academic and cultural environment. The transition was smooth and helped me become more independent. I did not avail myself of any scholarship. Overall, I am satisfied with my university, course and experience in the country.
Likes (Part time work): Being a student in JNU RAK is enjoyable and interesting. I spend my entire day attending classes, studying, and hanging out with friends. There are several activities that are arranged by the university, and there are also clubs where students can participate actively.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. They give clear explanations using examples and even during interactions. The department offers a conducive environment to learn from knowledgeable staff with different academic perspectives.

Excellent Faculty, Practical Learning & Great Student Life at JNU Ras Al Khaimah
Tips: Students should be ready for a practical and multicultural learning environment. I adjusted quickly with support from faculty and classmates, and the cultural shift was positive. I did not avail any scholarship. I am highly satisfied with the university, my course, and life in the UAE.
Likes (Public transportation): Student life at JNU Ras Al Khaimah is vibrant and engaging. My day includes lectures, group projects, and time with friends. I enjoy cultural festivals, sports events, and workshops. The university has active student clubs, and I regularly participate in their activities.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): The faculty at JNU Ras Al Khaimah is highly supportive, approachable, and always available for academic guidance. The teaching combines practical learning, case studies, and interactive sessions. The department has a diverse team of faculty from different nationalities, providing a global learning experience.

Excellent Learning Experience with Great Career Opportunities in the UAE
Tips: Students should be prepared for an independent learning environment and higher living costs. The cultural shift was smooth due to the diverse student community. I didn't avail myself of any scholarship. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the university, course, and the UAE for its quality education and career opportunities.
Likes (Internships): I rated this a 5 because the university actually puts in the work to get you ready for the UAE job market. Since JNU RAK makes doing a full-time internship in your sixth semester mandatory, you don’t just graduate with a degree—you leave with actual work experience. The career services team and our tutors are super hands-on and constantly share relevant openings with us. The best part is that the placements aren't just generic admin work; they actually line up with whatever you are studying, whether you're doing cybersecurity, fintech, or hospitality. It makes a massive difference because you get to work inside real UAE companies, build a local professional network, and actually feel confident about landing a job here after you finish.
Dislikes (Part time work): I rated 4 because on-campus part-time jobs are limited, but off-campus roles in retail, hospitality, delivery, and customer service are available. Balancing work with studies is manageable. Students typically earn around AED 1,500–3,000/month depending on hours and role.

A Supportive and Multi-Cultural College Experience
Tips: Before you actually sign up here you just need to know that the campus is massively multicultural, the academic support is solid, and you get plenty of chances to grow both personally and professionally. But you really have to be ready to stay on top of your own workload. But yeah, you seriously have to stay on top of your own workload. If you don't budget your time right or bother showing up to campus events you’re basically missing out on the whole point of being here.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Getting around from the Jaipur National University campus here in RAK is actually pretty straightforward since you're well connected to the rest of the city. You’ve got local buses and taxis basically right outside so hitting up places like the malls or heading back to your apartment isn't a massive headache. Plus, if you stick to the shared transit or bus routes it’s cheap enough that it won't absolutely wreck your student budget. It just makes the day-to-day commute a whole lot simpler without you having to overthink it.

Positive Learning Environment with Strong Career Opportunities
Tips: One thing students should realize is that getting used to the teaching style and the culture here isn't an overnight thing—it takes a minute to find your rhythm, though the campus is honestly really welcoming. I found myself adjusting bit by bit, mostly just getting my head around the lifestyle and how people communicate. As for scholarships, they definitely have them based on your grades, and you can sort that out during your application to help knock a bit off the fees. All in all, I’m really glad I chose this uni and course. The growth and the learning opportunities in this country are just massive compared to what I was used to.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): I went with 5/5 for the settlement side of things because the paths to staying here long-term actually make sense. If you’ve got your qualifications and some solid work experience, getting PR feels very doable compared to other places. I’d definitely love to stay here permanently—the career growth is great, but it’s really the stability and the overall lifestyle that sold me on it.
Dislikes (Internships): I gave internships a 4/5 since the uni is actually pretty helpful with pointing you in the right direction. Most of the placements you find actually fit with what we’re studying and are great for getting some real-world experience, but I do wish they had more direct links with companies. It’d be a lot better if there were just more options available to choose from.
