Initially, there was a cultural shift, especially in terms of lifestyle and academic expectations. The environment is more independent, punctual, and discussion-based compared to what I was used to. However, the university orientation sessions, international student support services, and friendly campus culture helped me adjust quickly. Over time, I became comfortable with the teaching style, which encourages critical thinking and self-directed learning, and I felt well-supported both academically and socially. I was awarded the Global Wales Scholarship, which provided 10,000. The scholarship was granted based on my academic performance, personal statement, and future career goals. The application required clearly explain my motivation for studying in Wales and how the degree would contribute to my professional development.
