- Applicant must have an undergraduate degree
- applicant should have GCSE Grade B/grade 5 or above in English Literature, English Language, Welsh Language (First Language) or Welsh Literature and Mathematics or Mathematics - Numeracy and a grade C/grade 4 or above in Science (or a standard equivalent).
- Where an equivalent to a grade B/grade 5 in either English Literature or Welsh Literature is achieved, a minimum of a grade C/grade 4 must be achieved in the corresponding GCSE examination in English or Welsh (First) Language.
- Applicants who have achieved a?D or above in GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics on application, will be considered for interview (grade 4 or above for applicants holding the newly reformed GCSEs in England).
- Applications may be considered for certain Secondary subjects from those who have achieved below a 2:2 Honours degree, but where higher qualifications and/or substantial relevant experience have been attained, e.g. Masters, PhD?.
