- Applicants must have a degree equivalent to UK first-class or upper second-class honours (2:1 or above) in either counselling and/or psychotherapy or a cognate discipline which has a focus on supporting and developing individual growth and expression and psychological mindedness. Relevant subjects include care work, community arts, dance, education, music, nursing, psychology, social work, sport, theatre studies or visual arts
- Students with lower degree classification or demonstrable practice experience may be admitted at the facultys discretion, subject to production of additional written evidence of their ability to study at Masters level
- Applicants should have minimum 50 hours of paid or voluntary experience working with clients from vulnerable populations, experiencing issues relating to emotional and mental wellbeing, and working creatively with diverse arts media or demonstrating interest and curiosity in engaging with the creative process
- Indian applicants must have a bachelors (BA) degree with a minimum percentage of 55% in professional subjects (awarded from a central university, recognised state university or a centre of advanced studies)
- Bachelor of Arts or Science (Hons) awarded from central university or recognised state university
- Bachelor of Education (four year of integrated programme)
- Bachelor of Engineering or of Technology (awarded from an institute of national importance, centre of advanced study, or Indian Institute of Technology or Indian Institute of Science)
- Bachelor of Law (LLB) from a law college approved by India Bar Council
- Bachelor of Science (Engineering) in Engineering/ Technology when awarded from central university, recognised state university, or regional Engineering college
- Bachelor of Commerce from recognised institution of minimum 3 year
- Indian Institute of Engineers examinations A and B
