Rewarding experience at King's college London
Tips: The move to London and enrollment at King’s College London was an entirely different experience from my previous university. There are many changes that you have to get used to academically, socially, and culturally. Students should also anticipate the costs of living in London and how much more independently they will have to study.
Likes (Internships): Easier to get internships and part-time experience. Kings talent bank portals is filled with part-time offers, making it easier for students to gain relevant work experience. There are a lot of opportunities across different fields, so students can build practical skills, strengthen their CVs, and gain experience in the UK job market while studying.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Current changes in Immigration lawns in UK making it difficult to settle there. The current changes and uncertainty around UK immigration rules make permanent settlement difficult to predict. I would like to stay and build my career in the UK, but my long-term options depend on future visa and settlement requirements.

The brand is really powerful, and has come in clutch when in front of many stakeholders.
Tips: Chevening Scholarship is one to know about. University life in London forces you to mature fast and be on your toes nonstop, so it is necessary to get good sleep and manage time effectively in order to be prepared for the Next day. One year goes by like a few weeks, so you can't close slight of your goal for even a second, and you will have to make sacrifices if you're serious, but it will work out eventually. Don't take a loan to do any kind of M.Sc. programme, though.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Easily approachable during office hours, can talk about virtually any relevant topic or question, and willing to offer opinions and advice. Don't expect "teaching" in the usual sense, you teach yourself and ask questions. Professors will only solve exercises and pose questions to the class in the lectures, it is up to you to make the most of it.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): UK government has introduce legislation to reduce immigration, which tries the hands of employers in regard to work visas, severely limiting student options after graduation w. r. t potential employers. Things open up more after you've spent 5 years in your first role, leading to better opportunities, but getting the first break is always the hardest. Easier to move back to india as well after immigrating at first.

King’s College London- Positive Experience
Tips: Studying at King's forces you to grow up fast—living in the middle of central London makes you far more independent, both in daily life and in how you approach your studies. Academically, the teaching at KCL really expands your critical thinking and gives you a much broader, global view of your field. I self-funded my degree without any scholarships, which is a major financial commitment given London's high cost of living. While I was really happy with the academic rigor and campus experience at King's, I ultimately realized that for my specific career track, India actually offers much stronger growth opportunities and long-term scope right now compared to staying on in the UK.

KCL is one of the best colleges for your LLM, especially in Competition Law.
Tips: There is a great program with KCL students, and they help you find extra work to do while you are doing your course. I was the Resilife residence coordinator, and it was a great way to make some extra money and make new friends. Also, LLM is a rigorous course, but you should make the most of the events/seminars/extra classes happening on campus. I also did a language course; the grades are not counted, but it's a fun way to destress while learning something.
Likes (Value for money): Yes. It is one of the top universities. I did my LLM in Competition Law. KCL is one of the best universities for competition law and has a top-notch faculty. They also give a lot of practical exposure by way of seminars and how the courses are formulated.

There are many opportunities to engage and Explore.
Tips: My transition has been similar to almost every other international student here, which makes one feel more reassured. My first semester here was quite overwhelming, but things fell in place soon after. There is plenty of opportunity if you put yourself out there. Sponsorship has become quite rare now, so make sure that you're mentally prepared for all possibilities. I feel the tuition fee for all international students is on the higher end, especially when you compare it to local students, but the scholarships can make a difference. Also, the quality of education has matched up, and if you secure a job afterwards, it seems justified.
Likes (Quality of faculty): I love the campus and the facilities that are provided. There are many clubs and activities being conducted, although I don't get to attend them frequently as I am busy. There are clubs for dance, music, debate, educational, academic, research, and cultural linguistic societies and many more. I mostly spend my day attending lectures and catching up on them by studying in the library on campus. I also get to spend time with some of my amazing friends I MET here.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer cooking for myself than eating out. It is affordable and allows me to choose exactly what I want. In Canary Wharf there are a few good Indian restaurants such as Dishoom Kricket IndiGo Rasoi Manjal and Mala by the riverside where I go occassionally.
