A rewarding college experience with corporate style campus.
Tips: The culture and hospitality at this college are honestly the best part. International students are treated equally, and the professors go out of their way to help, whether it's guiding you towards a job, supporting research, or helping you connect theoretical concepts to real-world practice. I also received a generous scholarship, which was a big reason I chose this college, and I am genuinely satisfied with my decision. The only downside is that campus feels like a corporate building since it sits right in the central London. So, don't expect green garden or a traditional campus video.
Likes (Student Life): Honestly, student life here is amazing. You get great discounts at popular brands like Adidas, Nike, Starbucks, etc., which is a nice bonus. People around you are genuinely helpful, too. The university also organises tons of events every week, from hockey match tickets to outings and professional networking sessions, all of which actually help when you're trying to land a job.
Dislikes (Part time work): Finding a part time job here can be tough for students because of the 20 hours per week work limit which most employers aren't fans of. If you build the right connections and network well getting a job becomes much easier. Another common route students take in London is going through hiring agencies, which works out pretty well for a lot of people.
