Established in 1979, the Nottingham Business School (NBS) is part of the Nottingham Trent University located in Nottingham, England.

The university’s Trent Polytechnic decided to create a School of Business, with the aim to “deliver education & research that combines academic excellence with impact upon people, business & society.”

Admission to PG courses for the upcoming session are now closed. Students interested in 2026 admissions to Nottingham B-school have to wait until around January of next year.

Interested candidates must fulfil the NBS admission requirements to secure a seat at the B-school.

• Minimum 50% in 12^th standard for an International Year One course from NBS
• Minimum 65% in 12^th standard from four relevant subjects (not including the native language) for bachelor’s degree
• A minimum 12^th standard English subject score of either 70/100 (70%) or 160/200 (80%)
• Minimum 50% from the University of Mumbai, Kolkata or Delhi & 60% from other recognized universities for PG courses
• Minimum 50% from a recognized university for a PG course & 60% for a PhD course

The Business School also prefers its students to have decent vocal & written English capabilities, & therefore students must also satisfy the below mentioned English language test scores:

Students who do not meet the language requirements, are then advised to take the Pre-sessional English language for Academic Purposed (PEAP) course.

The Nottingham Business School Campus is a part of the City campus of the renowned Nottingham Trent University (NTU).

The campus is based in the Newton building of the City campus, that just recently went through a £90 million regeneration along with the Arkwright building, & offers students outstanding study & social spaces.

The Newton building can be considered a modern-day engineering marvel with a whole host of world class teaching & social spaces available, along with events & conferencing facilities.

The building offers four computer rooms, each with a capacity of 20 students along with a 50-seat open access area. The NBS campus also offers a dedicated space to business students to work, read, revise & learn in the form of the Link Lounge. Its reception facilities offer students the opportunity to book appointments with the B-school’s experienced lecturers & staff members.

Other than that, the campus also offers a Bloomberg-software equipped business labs, that is essentially a trading room with access to live financial data from around the world.

Its dedicated postgraduate centre provides students all necessary support related to curriculum, workload management, & career counselling services over the duration of their studies.

Students can opt to stay at on-campus housing or opt for private off-campus accommodation in the city:

• On-Campus: NBS provides on-campus accommodation facilities as part of its university residential halls & private halls. The B-school’s halls are equipped with en suite bedrooms with a shared fully-equipped kitchen-dining area. Bedrooms are also available with shared bathrooms & studio rooms.
