Aston University in UK accepts country-specific qualifications from overseas applicants. Indian candidates who wish to pursue their higher studies from the university, must meet the Aston University admission requirements for Indian students listed below:

Undergraduate Requirements:

• Standard Xth and XIIth mark sheets;
• Higher secondary school certificate (CBSE/ICSE/State Board/IB/IGCSE); and
• Overall grade of 45 - 85% or higher (CBSE/ICSE); or
• Overall grade of 50 - 90% or higher (All State Board and NIOS);
• One letter of recommendation (LOR); and
• Copy of passport.

Postgraduate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised Institution, with the minimum UK equivalent CGPA;
• College/university semester-wise marksheets reflecting all modules with corresponding grades;
• One personal essay of 600 words;
• One letter of recommendation (2 for MBA); and
• CV (if available);
• If candidates have a master's degree, they must submit a 200-word statement telling the university why they wish to pursue a second master's level course;
• Any certificates or approvals needed from professional bodies;
• Copy of passport; and
• Other course-specific requirements.

Undergraduate Requirements: 

• Undergraduate Applicants can apply only through UCAS

• The University of Aston accepts students from international schools such as IGCSE or Central Board of Secondary Education(CNSE) and State Board Qualifications for direct entry into the Undergraduate Programs.

• The equivalent entry requirements for the India qualifications below align with the international capabilities on the respective course pages.

• Applicants must have a minimum perc of 45% and above in ICSE and CBSE.

• However, students who studied in the State Board at the University of Aston Expect the applicants to have a minimum of 50%.

• Some programs' entry requirements might have specific GCSE(equivalent Standard 10th requirements). The GCSE equivalencies are shown in the below table.      

Postgraduate Requirments: 

• Students must have completed a relevant bachelor's degree with the minimum UK equivalent GPA
