Swansea University - Perfect university for international students
Tips: There are a lot of international students, and the south asian culture is growing massively since I joined the university. I would say the university is very good, they help and support you, and it is very easy to get close to professors who are actually willing to help. I am very satisfied with my experience and preferred it over my experience going to Queen Mary's in London.
Likes (Safety): Very safe area, everyone is very friendly, and the city is always lively at night. There are a lot of students, which makes it feel more like home. There is on-site security on campus 24/7. There is not a lot of racism as it's very diverse now. Genuinely, a very good place to live in the UK.
Dislikes (Part time work): Quite hard to find part-time work unless you have a car or can find work nearby. You just need to be lucky with work. With the course you most likely max want to do 10-12hrs per week anymore you may struggle as there is a lot of workload and can become overwhelming.

The university provides many on campus opportunities to grow and build connections.
Tips: Initially, I was concerned about the transition to this university, but it turned out to be a smooth one. I fit in perfectly and didn't feel like there was anything I couldn't do. I didn't have any scholarships before joining and I had applied for it through clearing. The city is very warm and welcoming. The faculty are easily approachable and will as well guide you throughout your assignments. Make sure to participate in events and seminars which are held on campus. Overall, I am very satisfied with the university and its courses.

Tough academics and highly qualified faculty.
Tips: It’s a very tough university with very strict paper evaluations and zero tolerance for plagiarism so students should keep in mind that they have to focus more on their studies than on part time jobs and other activities if they want to achieve a good academic score. The professors and mentors are very helpful and easily accessible especially in the engineering departments.

Safest city for students. Focus on work and tasks assigned to you.
Tips: Students coming should know the difference in education between India and Western countries. Understand the structure of your course modules in order to improve your overall work and studies. Work on assignments and projects as soon as you receive them instead of leaving them last minute.
Likes (Safety): One of the safest cities in this country. A small and bustling town, it is very quiet and safe to travel in even at night. However certain amount of caution must always be observed. Staying in groups at night or using public transportation is a good way to keep vigilance.
Dislikes (Part time work): Not enough part time opportunities in the city and University. Yet there are multiple job opportunities being created by the University. Will need time but slowly and surely everyone can get part-time opportunities if they are patient enough. Very important to create connections.

Life at Swansea University is satisfying in terms of both academics and personal growth.
Tips: As for transitioning to Swansea University, it's common to face a cultural shift, with the difference in language, food, social customs, and academic expectations. Regarding scholarships, Swansea University offers various scholarship opportunities for international students based on merit. I find the University, course fulfilling.
Likes (Safety): It is safe to be in and around the university at any time of the day. There are bus services throughout the night available for students who study late at night in the university library. I have not had any bad experiences in the city so far.
Dislikes (Public transportation): Public transport is not always reliable, but the frequency is good. You have various buses going to and fro from the Singleton campus to the Bay campus. The prices are confirmed to be increased from next month, which is a big setback for students.
