Indian students who want to take part in the University of Aberdeen admission process must follow the application process.
- Search for the course: First of all, explore programs from 500+ undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the university in a wide variety.
- Check for eligibility: Then, check the basic admission criteria required for the program chosen. For UG admission, students should have a high school completion certification, whereas for graduate admission, a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent is required.
- Submit the documents: The, submit the documents like high school transcripts, ACT/SAT scores (optional), personal essay, and English language requirements. On the other hand, graduate applicants must submit official transcripts, an updated CV/resume, GMAT/GRE scores (as required by the program), purpose/goal statements, work experience (if any), along with the English language requirements.
- Pay application fee: After entering all the details, pay Canterbury University application fee. The application fee for UG programs is GBP 28.5 (INR 3.3). There is no application fee for PG programs.
- Wait for Response: Students can expect a response in the form of offer letter or rejection through mail within 2-4 weeks.
- Apply for a visa: After receiving the acceptance letter from the university, students must apply for visa to get admission on time. They must submit certain mandatory documents for UK Student VISA.
- Pay tuition fee: Lastly, pay the tuition fees.

The University of Aberdeen offers MBA programs for Individuals who want grow their career in business management and administration. The duration of these programs generally 12 months – 1 year. Below are the requirements for Aberdeen University for Ug and PG courses:
Applicants applying for Arts-related Subjects: Students must score at least 75% overall. Additionally, a minimum percentage of 80% in English at their XII or our normal English Langauge requirements.
Applicants applying for Science related subjects: Students must score at least 75% in their XII overall, including a 75% or more in two subjects, Science or Mathematics and a Science subject. A minimum percentage of 80% in english at XII is required.
Applicants applying for Biomedical Sciences: Applicants applying for Biomedical Sciences must have a minimum percentage of 80% overall, including 80% or more in two Science subjects—additionally, a minimum percentage of 80% in English at standard English requirements.
Engineering: At standard XII a minimum percentage of 80% overall, including 75% or more in two Science subjects, or mathematics. Additional 80% in English language requirements.
Law: Applicants applying for Law must have a minimum percentage of 80% overall, including 80% or more in two Science subjects—additionally, a minimum percentage of 80% in English at standard English requirements.
Postgraduate Courses:
Applicants would look for a minimum of 60% for state and central universities for programmes requiring a 2.2 degree, whereas programmes requiring a 2.1 would need a minimum of 65% overall.
For Private and deemed universities, the University looks for a minimum of 60% for programs requiring a 2:2 degree, Whereas programs requiring a 2:1 ratio would need 65%.
While the above is a general guide, we understand the marking system in some states and national universities. To make it a little harder to achieve 60%, therefore we will accept 555 from the University of Mumbai, University of Calcutta, University of Delhi etc.
