The University of Hertfordshire ranked the highest in the East of England for Student Satisfaction and stood in the top third amongst the 130 UK-based universities in the list, suggesting that the freshman retention rate of the university is high. Hertfordshire was the only university to be awarded a King's Award for Enterprise in 2024, ranked 1st in East England for overall student positivity (NSS,2024), and attained a Silver award in the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF 2023). Moreover, the university has been ranked #897 in Best Global Universities, #314 in Best Global Universities in Europe, and #901-950 in World University Rankings 2026 by other top-ranking publishers. Hertfordshire University UK offers more than 300 courses across seven schools of study. The courses available for different sessions namely January and September vary. The University of Hertfordshire doesn't share any GPA for UG Indian students. However, students are required to submit their high school transcripts, with a score of 60-70% in Standard XII. For Pre-masters, the requirements include completing a Bachelor's degree with 40% or above, whereas for Postgraduate taught programs, the scores of the relevant subject area must be 55-65% or above. As per the Guardian Rankings, the University of Hertfordshire ranked #75 in 2025. In the previous year, this university ranked at #87. The current year's ranking shows that there has been a major improvement in the university's Guardian ranking. It can be said that in the UK rankings, Hertfordshire University ranks among the Top 100 UK Universities in 2025.
