One of the best disciplined university.
Tips: They said it's difficult to pass and they'll fail most of the M.Sc. students but it all depends on us. If we attend revision classes and do all assignments on our own, we can easily pass with distinction. But one thing I didn't like was that most of them are Indians. If you're someone who wants to improve communication, this university or this city is not for you.
Likes (Quality of faculty): In my department, my faculty were friendly and were available whenever needed. If we don't understand they'll clearly explain again. We don't have to worry about their nationality, we can easily understand their accent. Also, we get recorded sessions if we don't get them in class, we can access them whenever needed.
Dislikes (Internships): Finding internships in the UK isn't easy but it's not difficult either. Need to learn how to manage tons of assignments, part-time and applications for jobs. Here we get companies coming to the university but it's beneficial only for undergraduates but not post-graduates. It's better to use LinkedIn, Amazon, and Reed apps.

Balanced academic experience.
Tips: The transition was smooth for international students. I got a small scholarship while applying for my course based on merit and professional experience. Diverse and vibrant college environment. Many student led clubs and activities are encouraged. I am satisfied with my university and the course but not satisfied with the country's market situation.

The university is good and the faculty are helpful.
Tips: Be ready to touch the lowest point of your life. University is amazing but not the city. I would suggest going to a big city and getting a university there because a university doesn't really matter unless and until it's a top university like Cambridge or Oxford. Because in a small city you won't get any part time jobs and there's not much difference in universities.

A well balanced university.
Tips: The transition was not too bad. A variety of students also study here from diverse backgrounds. City is pretty affordable as well. Scholarships and bursary options can be available too for students who have had a difficult background.
Likes (Indian Food): Many restaurants are available in the city but I prefer cooking rather than eating out, as it is a great way to save money. Lots of delicious Asian, Chinese and Italian restaurants are available and are budget friendly for students.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The professors are very good and are ready to help with any issues that may arise. People are friendly. Very lively place aswell for students to thrive in and make new friends to help develop socially.

The job market in the UK is really tough.
Tips: I have seen growth in myself in terms of communication, personality and being independent. I got a 3000 pounds scholarship in tuition fees, which I feel is really normal. I think most people get some amount of scholarship. I am satisfied with business analytics and strategic finance subjects. Other than that, everything was pretty much basic. Overall, Leicester is pretty much boring, so make sure you make friends to keep yourself sane. Everything looks good from the outside, but the struggle will start when you start living away from family.
Likes (Public transportation): The city is well-connected with buses. And there's a free bus service that takes a round trip in Leicester called the Hopp, which is helpful. Otherwise, bus charges are 2 pounds. Plus, everything is within walking distance, so you can just walk if you don't want to pay for transport.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It is about the competition, and the job market in the UK is really tough. You have to stand out to have sponsorship jobs in terms of skills and knowledge. I would suggest upgrading your skills while doing your Master's to stand yourself. Find an internship when there's a holiday. The average salary is around 32000 pounds.

Multi diverse university and friendly and cooperative university.
Tips: Use any discounts that are available here. Book cheap airline tickets, get student discounts, download discount apps, and use voucher codes. Don’t bring too many winter clothes from home, it’s much better to buy them here because Indian jackets don’t cut it in the UK. Leicester is very diverse and there are a lot of Indian restaurants here where you can get good Indian food. You can find everything from South Indian dishes to Turkish food here. You can go out here without spending a lot of money, too. In the UK, there aren’t any specific arrangements in place for internships, like there are in India. Here, you have to apply externally yourself. There are some instances of companies advertising their roles on campus or at events, and networking can be useful, but most of the time, they say to apply online.
