Great to polish yourself academically.
Tips: Studying here will surely be intense. You will have a heavy work load and you will also feel like you're falling behind. Remember that the process is the same for everyone and there are some helpful campus resources you can always take advantage of. I enjoy classroom discussions and the brand value of studying here is unmatched. Labs are well equipped as well and professors have been very helpful.

Tips: My transition was smooth. I did not face a lot of problems. The cohort is small but everyone is accommodating and friendly.

Classes are challenging but they're structured in a way to bring out the best of you and there are plenty of networking opportunities, as well as career fairs and mixers which you should check out. Professors give you a lot of freedom but you will be expected to advocate for yourself and manage your work life balance to the best of your ability. Pittsburgh is quite a lovely city to live in.

CMU has a very global campus, so you'll meet people from all over the world, especially India. Lots of resources as well, which you should make use of.
