Q:   Does Central College give scholarships?
A: 

Central College claims to offer 99% of international students some sort of scholarship to help them with their studies. The scholarships range from USD 1,000 to USD 8,000 and can be renewed every year for a maximum of four years. International applicants are automatically considered for these scholarships (except the Ambassador Scholarship) so o separate application is required. All scholarships are merit-based.

Freshman Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to first-year undergraduate students who are enrolled in a full-time programme at the university. The scholarship is offered based on the academic merit of the students, and the eligibility is as follows:

International Baccalaureate Scholarship: A scholarship of USD 3,000 per academic year is offered to the students who complete the IB Diploma with a Grade 5 on a 7 scale. Students must have completed at least three IB examinations.

A-Level Scholarship: A scholarship of USD 3,000 is offered to international students who have completed at least three A-level examinations with a B average.

International Ambassador Scholarship: A scholarship of USD 8,000 is offered to the new and transfer students who have a 3.0 GPA on a scale of 4.0. Students are required to complete 20 hours of service at the college per semester for the scholarship.

The basic charge for all on-campus residence units is USD 2,446 per semester. As per the general rule, two persons are allowed per room. An additional charge of USD 454 per semester is applied for a private room and USD 654 for a private double room. The college offers two meal plans which include:
