Good for industry experience.

Tips: I have transitioned mostly positively after coming here. Most of my day is spent attending classes and lectures, working in labs and spending time at the Park Library. My course involves a lot of group projects which makes brainstorming and ideation quite fun. Safety and wellbeing is taken quite seriously here with patrols and services available but you'll also have to be street smart to an extent. Good industrial knowledge.

Good campus with good people.

Tips: Student life is vibrant which has really helped in making things easier for me in terms of settling here. Try to pack only essentials and avoid unnecessary items as you'll have to get stuff here but things like masalas and stationery have been quite useful. There are a variety of clubs on campus as well and I'd consider it safe. Good experiences.

Innovative and passionate people here.

Tips: I found the environment here very supportive and collaborative as well. People expect you to step out of your shell and the environment here tends to make that happen as naturally as possible. Id love to stay on if I get a scholarship but the chances for that are limited. Most students who manage to secure an internship here get full time offers as well so it really depends. Be open to relating after graduation.

Interesting and well thought out classes.

Tips: My programme is one of the most competitive ones and is incredibly hard to get into as well but once you're in, you'll be exposed to very in depth learning along with truly passionate people, be it students or professors. On campus work is limited and because of our academic demands, it is hard to dedicate time for part time work. The city is peaceful and can be less happening than other college towns.

Tips: Central Michigan University is a good and top university with highly educated lecturers with affordable tuition fees. The faculty is good, and everything depends on us. There are a lot of opportunities on campus that relate to technical studies. You can explore as much as you can, and all of the faculty will be so friendly and helpful in academics, as well as in preparing and motivating you to participate in any of the hackathons or webinars. Try to participate as many times as you can, and you will find good opportunities with connections. On-campus part-time work is available if you apply in advance. I would definitely recommend the university to international students, but again, it depends on you to land a high-paying job or not.
