- Provisional admission can be given only upon the specific recommendation of the director of the biology graduate program once the appropriate documents have been received by the Graduate School
- A student may take a MAXIMUM of nine (9) graduate hours toward the biology master’s program under provisional admission. Once the student has taken nine graduate hours, no further graduate coursework may be undertaken until the student has met the following criteria:
- The student must have a completed admissions file in the Graduate School
- The student must show a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 3.0 on the first nine (9) credit hours of graduate coursework at Charleston Southern University
- The director of graduate studies in biology must recommend the student for regular admission
- Note: Financial Aid is not available to students under Provisional Admission

We have a lot of activities and events that take place on campus.
Tips: I would want students to know that CSU is a Christian university and that they integrate faith in all activities. In classrooms, in the cafeteria, in sporting events, a Christ-like image is portrayed. I am on a sports scholarship, and being on scholarship, I would just encourage students to know the terms and conditions applicable to it.
Likes (Safety): We have a lot of activities and events that take place on campus, like club events. We have several clubs on campus who conduct events that students can attend, and we also have Sweet 16 events throughout the school year, which encourage students to get out of their comfort zone and be out there.
Dislikes (Value for money): Faculty and staff here would treat students like their own friends. There’s no tension between student and teacher and they are very kind towards students, pushing them forward in a good way. Students can reach out to them anytime through mail and some teachers would also give you their phone numbers if you need extra help.
