A Certificate of Attendance does not qualify an applicant for admission consideration
- Seventeen curriculum course units required as follows:
- English (4 units): emphasis in grammar and usage; literature (American, English, and World); and advanced composition skills.
- Mathematics (4 units): algebra I, algebra II, geometry, and one additional mathematics course with these units as prerequisites.
- Science (4 units): at least one laboratory course from the life sciences and one laboratory course from the physical sciences. (Applicants graduating in 2012 or later must have 4 units.)
- Social Science (3 units): at least one course focusing on United States studies and one course focusing on world studies.
- Foreign language (2 units in the same language): emphasis in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Must have a minimum 2.75 high school grade point average calculated on the 17 courses listed above

Been a mixed batch of experiences.
Tips: Atlanta can be a mixed experience for people but downtown where the campus is located, is filled with opportunities and more. Sometimes it is hard to meet people outside classes and this can be hard to combat but I do appreciate the culture and diversity present on campus. The faculty is helpful and will encourage you to participate in on-campus activities and extracurriculums.

This was mainly because of how individualistic everything appeared but once my classes started and I was more occupied with campus events, everything became a lot simpler. The city is friendly although it can also be very rushed at times so keep an open mind and join a campus activity or a part-time job that you'd enjoy. It has been an interesting and unique experience.
Tips: I have experienced a lot of changes in myself during my experience studying at this university. It can feel overwhelming at the start as there are a lot of students throughout campus and the classes are competitive as well. There are events that take place but they are not advertised as much so you'll have better luck exploring outside campus or being more involved. Aside from nightlife, the city has a lot to offer. It has been a unique and decent experience.
