National University Admissions 2025: Application Deadline, Requirements & Costs

There is no Application fee for National University as the university eliminated the fee exclusively for Undergraduates. By not having an application fee, the National University is creating good options and opportunities for students across the globe to pursue their educational interests and goals without the financial burden on the students. However, for Graduate students, the university hasn’t specified an application fee, hence it is suggested to call the admission office to get more details regarding the process.

The University requires applicants to have a GRE/ GMAT if the student’s grade point average is between 2.0 to 2.49. However, students don’t have to give the GMAT/Check GRE score if they have a grade point average of 2.5 or above.

The below application process for National University applies to both UG and PG applicants: 

Step 1: Applicants must create an account on the National University official portal.

Step 2:  Applicants must complete an admission application by giving their basic demographic information and choosing their interested course in UG / PG degree programs. Applicants must select their interested course.

Step 3: Ensure you meet the English language requirements for your chosen course.

Step 4: LORs, Personal insights and transcripts of the applicant's 12th marks are essential while applying for National University. The University wants the applicants to provide official transcripts within 30 days of admission. 

Step 5: International students need not pay any application fee for the university ( Only for UG courses, however for PG courses, applicants are suggested to call the admission office for the application fee) 

 Step 6: If the applicant is selected, the university will notify the applicant through the mail they signed in. However, we suggest applicants check the university's online portal for checking. 

International student can apply to the National University throughout the year. Applicants can apply online at the National University through the university’s own application portal. Once the online application form is submitted, the university will issue you an Application Identification Number and assign you an International Admissions Coordinator. The international admission coordinator will populate your application with a list of required documents to complete your admission to the National University.

.The cost of attending National  University can vary depending on the main factors such as course, level of study (UG and PG) and accommodation status. However, International students considering this university could be a little higher than compared to US citizens. 

The UG programme Academic tuition fee for international students is around (INR 13.74L ) per annum, depending on the course. It’s (INR 14.73L ) for PG programs.

However, there are no deadline for admission at the National University. The National University accepts application round the year. Also, depending on your course and the level of study. The approval process usually takes 4-6 weeks. International students can start their programme as soon as their application is approved since new classes are beginning every month.

• A minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of 2,5 is required for general admission.

• A GPA of 2.75 or higher in the last 90 quarter units also meets the criteria.

• Applicants who have a score above 2.5 are exempted from these standardised tests.

• Students with an undergraduate GPA between 2.0 and 2.49 may be accepted on probationary status.

• English proficiency

For BS in Accountancy at National University, applicants must have completed high school with a minimum GPA of 2.0. There are no specific cutoff scores mentioned for 12th-grade results. Prerequisites for admission include proficiency in English and/ or Mathematics. As for the English Language proficiency test, applicants can meet the requirements with a minimum TOEFL score of 70/120, a PTE score of 50/90, or an IELTS score of 5.5/9 with no band lower than 5.
