The Main Campus is just a few blocks away from Lake Michigan, and the Great Lakes Campus offers views of Grand Traverse Bay. Students highlight that the teachers are caring and supportive. The professors are very well educated and take the time to really let the students grasp the material in the courses. According to Niche and EduRank, the acceptance rate of Northwestern Michigan College is 100%. A few unofficial websites show the acceptance rate as 55%. Northwestern Michigan College is a publicly funded community college with an open admission policy. So it seems to be a less competitive college.
