Northwestern Michigan College Courses 2026: Popular UG, PG, & Certificate Courses

The Main Campus is just a few blocks away from Lake Michigan, and the Great Lakes Campus offers views of Grand Traverse Bay. Students highlight that the teachers are caring and supportive. The professors are very well educated and take the time to really let the students grasp the material in the courses. Most students review mention that the tuition rates are very reasonable with good education quality. There are people of all ages, so it is inclusive and creates a sense of great community.

There are criticisms regarding the quality of food on campus, with some students expressing concerns about health standards. Some reviews mention issues with the organization at the college, including complaints about maintenance problems like fire alarms and general disarray within the administration.

Application process at Northwestern Michigan College-

Complete the online application.

Submit all the supporting documents including-

• Original bank documents with the least amount of $25,130.
• Financial support form which is available on the college website.
• Photocopy of passport.
• Original secondary school and/or college transcripts, diplomas, and exit exam scores officially translated into English.
• English proficiency test scores.

Candidates can upload these documents on the application portal or they can mail it to admissions@nmc.edu. Once the documents are received, the college can request original documents at any point.

Northwestern Michigan College (NMC) is a public community college. It offers more than 60 academic programs including maritime, aviation, science, technology, engineering, and math.
