For 12 years in a row, the University of Findlay has featured among the top-ranking American institutions according to the U.S News & World Report annual survey. Students graduating from the university, irrespective of their courses, have obtained employment and internships with reputed organisations such as CVS, Cleveland Clinic, Mercy Health, Dublin City Schools, Marathon, Kalmbach, University of Findlay, etc.

41% of the students had a full-time job and 4% had obtained part-time employment. 20.5% of the students planned to pursue further studies, 0.6% volunteered for a program, and 0.5% of the students joined military service. 25.2% of them were still searching for a job at the time of the survey and 3.3% were not looking for employment. The overall success rate for the Findlay students stood at 70%.

This placement data report includes responses from students who graduated between December 2019 and May 2020. Out of 1,001 graduates and undergraduates, 629 students had sent their feedback.

Over 85 undergraduate programs are offered at the University of Findlay within its six colleges. Majors such as business, education, pharmacy, animal science/pre-veterinary, and equestrian studies are some of the most sought-after areas of academic study at the university.

In 2020-2021, approximately 3,300 students, both graduate and undergraduate, were enrolled here. The total number of undergraduate students was 2,200, whereas graduates were 1,100 in number.

UG Responses: The data contains the feedback obtained from 355 out of 521 students.

Graduate Responses: The data contains the feedback obtained from 274 students out of 480.

The success rate of the undergraduate students was 68.2%, whereas for the graduate students it was 72.3%.

31.8% of the undergraduate students opted to study further and 5.8% of the graduate students decided to pursue further studies. 0.6% of the undergraduates volunteered for a program, whereas 0.7% of graduates opted for the same. More percentage of graduates obtained full-time employment than the undergraduate lot. But in terms of part-time employment, more of these jobs were obtained by undergraduate students than graduates.

The college which witnessed the highest graduate full-time employment rate was the College of Education, with 66.1% of the students getting hired. The college which had the lowest full-time employment rate was the College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences, with only 22.8% of the students getting a job.

As per the latest data available (2022), the job title which yielded the highest average annual salary for the graduates was Pharmacist, with students getting an amount of $114,783. This was followed by Physician Assistant and Environmental Health & Safety Director, with annual average amounts of $106,916 and $105,250. At fourth place was Environmental Health & Safety Manager, with the average recorded amount of $100,000. The job which yielded the lowest annual average salary for the graduates was that of Physical Therapist, with $70,500 being the average amount.

Findlay Internship Data 2020

An internship prepares a student for corporate life or the professional world. It helps you gain insight into the actual working atmosphere and the kind of challenges one may face in order to succeed in his/her field. The overall success of the university’s College of Business was 80.2%. The feedback recorded was of the students who graduated between December 2019 and May 2020. 64.5% of the students from the Business School obtained a full-time job and 4% were able to get a part-time employment. 7.9% of the students opted to attend the graduate school, whereas 1% volunteered for a program. 16.8% were searching for a job actively and 3% were not desirable of a job.
