The University of Vermont is known for being part of the the oldest institutions in United States' history, having first opened its doors back in 1791.

It was the first higher education institution to declare public support for freedom of religion & was also the first university to grant admissions to African-American & women students into Phi Beta Kappa.

The institute is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) & ranks highly as part of rankings given by several notable university ranking platforms.

Q:   Does UVM require GRE?
A: 

Yes, GRE & GMAT scores are considered for admissions at the University of Vermont.

However, most courses do not require these scores, only a select few courses do. The university does not have a minimum GRE or GMAT score requirement & these scores are only considered as a component of a student’s application that undergoes a holistic review process.
