University of Central Florida Placement overview
The University of Central Florida (UCF) witnessed 85% of undergraduates responding to the annual employment survey. 20.6% of females had over three job offers and 20% of males had 3 or more offers. Undergraduate students (67.4%) about to graduate had immediate plans to search for a full or a part-time job and the second major plan was to attend graduate or professional school (25.4% of graduates). Of all the graduating students, 72.4% who had a job at present or had accepted a position stated that their job was within their field of study. Also, 80.5% said that their work was related to their field of study
Around 19.2% of graduating students with a job or job offer felt that their university education helped increase their annual salary and 21.5% reported that they earned a promotion. In 2019, for the 5th consecutive year, the university was adjudged the top market supplier of graduates to U.S. aerospace and defence industries, according to Aviation Week Network. UCF graduates holding a degree in mechanical & aerospace engineering, business, communication, electrical engineering, computer science, etc were hired majorly by the same.
