Tips: You'll have a great time here, so don't be nervous. Make the most of your time here, attend classes to truly learn, and pursue any extracurricular activities that interest you. While Boston is an expensive city, it's also very student-friendly. People are friendly and they love to socialise a lot. Try to be friendly and connect with people. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.

Tips: I had a great time here, and that's largely because I was mentally prepared and came with a decent scholarship. Otherwise, expenses can really add up. The people here are individualistic, and professors expect you to be more independent, which was something I struggled with. I recommend being open to collaborations and projects, as they stand out more than your GPA.

Tips: I have seen changes in myself after moving here. The culture shock wasn't intense, but it was present, and it took me some time to get used to the abruptness and demeanour of the locals, as they can be a lot more straightforward than expected. Tips: There are tons of events on campus, and there's a hackathon almost every other week to keep my skills sharp. It's easy to make connections with people from other majors because of these events, and it's a great way to make friends, too. Of course, not everything is perfect. One of the first things that really hit me was the weather and how cold it can get, so you'd better come prepared. Plus, the campus Wi-Fi is a bit unreliable, so make sure you're ahead of your work so you don't get caught when it inevitably goes out.
