The University of Michigan Dearborn mascot is a Wolverine. The University of Michigan Dearborn is a member university of the National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Michigan Dearborn has nine sports teams out of which eight teams compete in the Divison II Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. Meanwhile, the men's ice hockey team of the university competes in the Division I Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League of the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
