Washington State University Student Loans for International Students

International students are also eligible for 'Student Loans', which is another option for them to help alleviate the financial burden that comes with being a student. Loans are of two types i.e., Subsidized loans and Unsubsidized loans. Subsidized loans are those where interest does not begin to accrue until you graduate and unsubsidized are those where interest accumulates as soon as the loan is disbursed, PLUS loans must begin being paid off 60 days after the first disbursement, and private loans from outside sources that have varying interest rates and plans. There are limits on the amount of loans that you can receive each academic year (annual loan limits) and on the total amounts that you may borrow for undergraduate and graduate study (aggregate loan limits).
