- Western Michigan University offers a payment plan option for each semester. The payment plan allows students to spread the balance due over a certain number of installments. A convenience fee of 2.85% or $3, whichever is larger, is assessed on each credit/debit card transaction
- Fall and Spring semesters have a four (4) and a six (6) payment option. Both plans spread the payments out over the semester. Summer I and Summer II have only one payment plan, which allows students to pay each session in two payments
- Students are required to enroll at least one day before the first payment is due
- Plans are available approximately four to five weeks before a semester begins
