What is JLPT Exam?

How to Apply for JLPT Exam?
Indian students need to visit official website of Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. Now follow steps mentioned below:
- Check Dates: JLPT is held twice a year. In July and December. You can check the JLPT website.
- Choose Center: JLPT Exam is conducted in Indian cities like Delhi and Mumbai.
- Register online: Fill out application form on website JLPT exam. Create MyJLPT account.
- Pay fees: Fees range from INR 1,500 to INR 1,700 (Varies on exam level N1 to N5).
- Get admit card: After payment, you will receive your admit card by email.
- Take Test: Appear at your selected center on the scheduled date.

How to Check JLPT Result?
Getting the result of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test is the final step. Here is the step by step process to check the JLPT result 2025:
- JLPT results are usually announced about two months after the conducting exam.
- You will get an official certificate along with your detailed score report if you will pass the exam.
- The JLPT certificate is valid for life; there is not expiry date.
- This certificate you can use while applying for admission in Japanese Universities or getting a job in Japan.
- If you do not pass the exam, retake the exam.
