The establishment of the University of West London dates back to 1960 when the University was formally known as the Lady Byron School. The University gained the name of the University of West London in 2011. In 2010, one of the University’s campus locations i.e. the Ealing site underwent a major transformation with the setting up of new social areas, Heartspace, library, Students’ union, auditorium, gym, restaurants, and cafes.
