My course curriculum was goo d and it had everything that was needed. Students can live in a suite or in a tower on-campus. It is recommended to live in dorms only during the first year.

History
Hofstra University was founded in 1935. It began as an extension of New York University (NYU) under the name, Nassau College – Hofstra Memorial of New York University. Its official name was changed to Hofstra College in 1937. The college separated from New York University in 1939 and was granted a charter in 1940. In 1941, the college was elected to membership in the American Association of Colleges and Universities. It became Hofstra University in 1963.
