Students passing out with a degree from Loyola Marymount found employment in almost every sector around the globe, with brilliant top companies. 88% of the graduates found a job in the private/for-profit sector, whereas 8% were employed in the non-profit sector. Only 3% of the LMU graduates were working in the government sector and 1% were in service.

The university institute which witnessed the highest employment rate for the graduates was the School of Film & Television (SFT), with 83% of the students getting a job. This was shortly followed by the College of Business Administration (CBA) and College of Communication & Fine Arts (CCFA), with an employment rate of 82% and 81% respectively. At LMU, 93% of the 2021 batch completed one or more internships.
