Highly active student life.
Tips: If you live on campus, you'll have a lot of fun, but if you stay off campus as a new student, it might be difficult to participate in campus events and have a social life. However, Jacksonville has many beautiful beaches, which were my favourite part of the city.
Likes (Student Life): There are many clubs and events happening all the time, so you won't get bored. They keep students actively engaged and are very open to different cultures. There's also a lot of free food, free merchandise, and fun weekly market days where you can buy unique things without leaving campus.
Dislikes (Public transportation): It is affordable, but not convenient to access from campus. It's better to have your own car in Jacksonville. The bus stops require a lot of walking, and Jacksonville isn't as walkable as cities like NYC. A personal car is needed if you want to go off campus.
