I am satisfied with its placements in M.Tech CSE.
Placements: Around 100% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 43.6 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 19 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Mathworks, ICICI, Dell, and IBM. The internships are offered in the first year to 4 students by IBM and Goldman Sachs. The top roles offered are SDE 1, SDE 2, and risk analyst.
Infrastructure: It provides a top-class hostel with a high-speed LAN port for every inmate plus the Wi-Fi is also enabled. High-speed internet on the campus is available. It provides laboratories and a canteen. The library has the best seating arrangement with centralised air-conditioner system. The quality of food is good, but the taste is average.
Faculty: It has qualified teachers but not as expected teaching skills atleast in online mode. The courses are relevant to industry standards and updated, students will pass the exam if they give at least 2 hours a day to self-study.
Other: The student activity center is there where every extracurricular activity is held like gym, table tennis, badminton, swimming, dance, etc.

Absolutely it was a wonderful experience for me.
Placements: Placements for M.Tech were not as good as B.Tech. But still, 15% of the students from our branch got placed. The highest salary package offered for M.Tech ECE branch was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Companies like L&T, Texas Inst, Sandisk, JIO (R&D), Hyderabad University KIIT University, etc., have visited for the placements of M.Tech ECE branch.
Infrastructure: The college has everything that a student wants. The college has facilities like separate medical centre, gym, swimming pool, etc. During our tenure, ISM has inaugurated the India biggest digital library. Hostel rooms have Wi-Fi facility, and each hostel room has its own student activity room. The canteen in our college was opened the whole night. The only issue in our college was hostel rooms need to be increased.
Faculty: Most of the professors are knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was moderately good but except some. Most of the subjects were taught based on research purpose. I got industrial exposure, as my project guide established fabrication laboratory under MHRD.

Quality of faculty members is not up to the mark.
Placements: It is a good college for graduate aspirants, but it is not suitable for post-graduation and higher courses. Salary packages offered by the companies are not as per the expectations of students. Overall, it is an average college, but it should provide better opportunities as per its reputation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. The campus is small, and most of it is occupied by the academic building. Hostel rooms are small, and there is no option for students who want to stay alone in the room. There are no separate buildings for each department. The campus has only two playgrounds. There is no garden for students to relax. Overall, the infrastructure needs to be improved.
Faculty: Faculty members don't match the status of the college. There were many faculty members for teaching, especially in the electronics stream. The faculty members have done their PhD. They were recruited in the phase of 2008-15. They don't interact with students, and students have to face many troubles during their academics, especially under such faculty.

Overall, the college has good ambience and excellent infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in IIT ISM are good for undergraduate students and are average for PG students. In 2017-18, the placement percentage was 93%. The highest salary package offered last year was 16 LPA, and the average package was 7-8 LPA. Companies like L&T, Maruti Suzuki, TCS, Infosys, Coal India, Tata Motors, and PSUs, etc., visited our college for placements. Many giant companies like Microsoft, Google and Flipkart also visited for campus recruitment drives.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided in our college are wonderful. There are two separate lecture hall complexes. Each lecture hall complex is equipped with a sound system and Wi-Fi facility. The 2nd largest library in Asia is present in IIT ISM Dhanbad. It is a 5-storeyed building with several reading halls. Medical facilities are available 24*7. For extracurricular activities, there is a separate four-storeyed building named as Student Activity Centre.
Faculty: IIT, ISM has many good faculty members, although it varies from individual to individual. Maximum of the faculty members recruited are from IITs or NITs. All of them are PhD holders. Majority of them are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable.
Other: IIT ISM is very popular for one of its major fests named Srijon. It is a technical fest where students from various colleges come and participate in various technical events. Apart from it, there are many communities to organise several cultural fests throughout the year. The college offers many courses like EE, CSE, ME, civil, mining, petroleum, management, humanities and social science, and each course has versatile subjects. The campus crowd is good enough. This campus is lush green and eco-friendly. Student activity centre conducts extracurricular activities.

One of the good colleges. I recommend this college to every one.
Placements: Placements for the students of M.Tech are average. But the placements for the students of B.Tech are excellent. Almost 98% of students from the CSE department were placed in 2015. The highest package offered was 25 LPA by Google, and the average package offered was 6 LPA to 7 LPA. The lowest package offered was 3.2 LPA. Companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Direct-I, Coal India, Google, Samsung, IBM, TCS and RnD etc., visited the campus for placements. Most of the companies offered profiles such as a developer or software engineer. A few universities visited to offer assistant professor roles to M.tech and PhD scholars. IIT, Dhanbad has a very good placement cell. The college works efficiently for the students of B.Tech to make them placed.
Infrastructure: New hostels and classrooms are good. The college provides projector facility. Boys hostels have good facilities such as late-night canteen and stationery shops etc. There are a few hostels for girls. Classrooms are good. The Wi-Fi facility provided is good. You will get 24*7 library facility.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified. They have an in-depth knowledge of their subjects. Faculty members are very much concerned about the placements of the students, which is good. The college offers a variety of courses like M.Sc., B.Tech, MCA, PhD and M.Tech., etc. The college needs to increase the number of faculty members.
Other: The college maintains good standards in organising tech fests and cultural fests. Many inter-college and intra-college level activities are organised throughout the year. One of the good colleges to pursue B.Tech.

It's better but first qualify GATE so that it would be better you to join in any government sector. Nowadays many government sectors are making GATE as the qualification for them. M.Tech is not that useful. Go with government jobs preparation.
