Everything is good and amazing. Really love the college.

Placements: Almost 85–90% of students got placed from our batch. The highest package went up to 12 LPA, and the average package was around 5–6 LPA, which is quite decent for freshers. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro come to our campus for hiring every year. Many students also got internships in good tech companies, and roles like software engineer or data analyst were mostly offered to us.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is actually pretty good. We have high-speed Wi-Fi across the campus, and the labs are well-equipped with systems. The library is big and has almost all the books you need for the course. Talking about the hostel, the rooms are clean. The mess food is average, sometimes it's good, but sometimes it's just okay. However, there are many cafes and food stalls inside the university.

Faculty: Teachers are super supportive and qualified. Most have PhDs and explain everything very well in class. They always help with doubts, even after college hours. Exams are not too hard, and if you study regularly, you can pass easily. But there are exams every month, like MST, FAT, etc.

Other: Overall, everything is excellent, but a bit of improvement is needed. There are no food stalls available at night, so if you crave food at night, you cannot get anything inside the campus. They should definitely allow at least one night canteen or small snack shop to stay open until 2 AM because students study late for exams and feel very hungry. The rest, like campus life, events, fests, etc., is really amazing.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: I am currently in the B.Tech Cyber Security course, and around 60–70% of students get placements in my course. The highest package for my course is 20–23 Lacs, the lowest is 4 Lacs, and the average package is 6 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Capgemini, etc. I am a fresher, and I don't know that much about internships. The top roles offered are cybersecurity analyst, security analyst, network security engineer, ethical hacker, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good, like Wi-Fi, but you can't access mobile data properly in college. The labs are clean, better, and have AC rooms. Many classrooms are also AC rooms, but if they don't have AC, their ventilation is much better. Libraries are the most likely places for students, so these are quiet and better than other libraries. Every block has its own library. Now, about the hostel mess, the food is good, not that bad, and the hostel rooms are the best of all. You can take AC or non-AC rooms according to your choice, and the fees are manageable.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and very good at teaching. They are qualified, and their teaching skills are nice. If you follow them properly, you can get ready for your dream jobs in big companies. Exams are not tough; they are easy if you study a little bit, and then you can pass easily. But maintaining good marks or CGPA is tough, though not that much. If you want, you can take admission; you will definitely not regret it.

Other: I just tried a different course than others, and the best thing about my course is that it makes us aware of the internet. I wish the syllabus were easier for the 1st semester because there are new students, and they enjoy themselves in the 1st semester and join clubs and sports, so they can't study properly. That's the reason. Events and fests are the best of all time that I have ever seen.

Placement rate is okay but classrooms are poor.

Placements: 86% overall placement. The university says the highest package is 1 crore. Companies that come here are Microsoft, Amazon, Google, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Capgemini. Roles include cybersecurity analyst.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are without AC. It is too hot, and I can't study properly. Labs have AC, but classrooms don't. The library is good. Wi-Fi is very slow. I don't know about food and water, as I am a day scholar, not a hosteller. Sports and games are good, and the gym is very nicely built.

Faculty: Out-of-syllabus questions are coming in exams. I can't study properly because the syllabus says something, but in the exams, something else comes up in a few subjects. The rest are okay. Teachers are definitely helpful and knowledgeable. The passing percentage per subject is 40%, and the rest.

My experience as a B.Tech Cyber Security fresher.

Placements: I am a fresher, so placement details are mainly from seniors. Around 70 percent of students got placed, as I heard. The highest package is 20 LPA and the average is around 8 LPA. Recruiting companies mentioned include TCS, IBM, Infosys, Capgemini, and Deloitte. Cybersecurity roles are also available.

Infrastructure: The campus has good infrastructure. Classrooms are AC and furniture is comfortable. Wi-Fi is available, and labs support practical learning. The campus has good greenery and flowers. Gym and canteen are also available. A full thali costs around Rs. 50-60. Hostel options range from 2-bed to 5-bed rooms, with AC or cooler facilities. Some hostels are on campus and some around Landran and Mohali. Transport is available for students. Four meals are provided daily, and washing machines are available at around Rs. 29-49 per wash.

Faculty: Faculty members are approachable and supportive. The Cyber Security curriculum includes ethical hacking, data security, cryptography, vulnerability assessment, and digital forensics. Practical learning is given importance. Exams are manageable with regular classes and preparation.
