Common Admission Test commonly known as CAT is a national level management aptitude test which is conducted by the IIM for MBA/ PGDM admission. Candidates seeking admission to GIM Goa must appear for the CAT exam. 

As per the interim placement report 2024, the GIM average package offered to top 20% and 50% students of PGDM (HCM) batch 2024 stood at INR 21.5 LPA and INR 16.7 LPA, respectively. The GIM average package offered to PGDM HCM batch between 2023 and 2024 are tabulated below:

The total tuition fees of PGDM course ranges between INR 5.3 lakh and INR 19.4 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates who will qualify all the selection rounds for PGP admission will be required to pay the course to confirm their seat in the institute. In case, a candidates is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Candidates need to pay a application fee to apply for admission.

The application fee ranges between INR 1,750 and INR 3,000 plus GST depending on the time of application for one or two courses. The fee increases, if a candidates applies for more than two courses.

The institute offers a GIM Online Active Learning (GOAL) PGDM course for a duration of two years. GOAL PGDM is for working professionals and individuals who are unable to take time off work to attend the full-time course. This course is particularly designed for individuals who wish to progress in their existing careers. Admission to GOAL PGDM is based on CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ CMAT score followed by a PI round. Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate and a minimum of three-year work experience can apply for GOAL PGDM admission.

GIM Goa has a good record of placements for its PGDM courses. As per the latest report, the highest package offered during GIM Goa placements in 2024 stood at INR 29 LPA. The GIM Goa average package offered to the PGDM batch 2024 stood at INR 14.81 LPA. Further, the GIM Goa average package offered to PGDM HCM and PGDM BDA batch 2024 stood at INR 14.25 LPA and INR 15.6 LPA, respectively. Admission to GIM Goa is entrance-based. Candidates must first apply for admission via online mode. The selection process for PGDM course, includes XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT scores followed by face-to-face evaluation and profile assessment index. For PGDM BDA, candidates must also qualify GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) for admission. FPM admission is based on XAT/ CAT/ GMAT/ JRF and other score followed by a personal interview round. The institute also considers academic performance, work experience, etc. for final selection to FPM course.
