- International Doctoral Fellowship: The application for this fellowship is open to full-time international PhD students at UTM Malaysia who are currently in the 1st semester until 6th semester only. For applicants in 5th and 6th semester, priority is given to those students who submit notification of thesis submission
UTM MBA applications should be made online only at the UTM Malaysia online. The documents that have to be submitted along with the application are given below:
- A certified copy of bachelor’s degree
- Certified copy of Diploma (if any)
- English language proficiency score (IELTS with a score of 6.0 / TOEFL with a score of 550)

- Copy of passport (for international applicants)
- Two referee letter (not compulsory)

UTM entry requirements for international students for an MSc Software Engineering course are given below:
- A bachelor’s degree
- IELTS Academic with 6.0 score / TOEFL with a score of 60 / PTE with 69 overall score
