Q:   How can I get admission in Le Cordon Bleu?
A: 

International students who want admission to Le Cordon Bleu can apply for any course directly through university's website. While filling the application form, students must have the following documents:

  • Signed 'Application form' and 'Admission, enrollment and method of payment policy'
  • ID or passport copy
  • Cover Letter (300 - 600 words) stating professional objectives
  • One passport size photo
  • Written proof; where applicable
Q:   What IELTS score is required for Le Cordon Bleu NZ?
A: 

To take admission to Le Cordon Bleu NZ Bachelor's courses, students must submit an IELTS score of 6.0, with no band lower than 5.5 & at least 6.0 in writing Or equivalent. The other test scores accepted for this course are: 

  • TOEFL iBT: 60

  • PTE: 50 with no band score lower than 42

  • OET: Minimum of Grade C or 200 in all sub-tests 

For the other courses at Le Corden Bleu NZ like Certificates, Diploma, Grand Diploma, an IELTS score of 5.0 Basic level is required. An IELTS score of 5.5 is required for Intermediate and Superior level Certificates.

Le Cordon Bleu applications are open all round the year. Each course and program has its own deadline and duration. So international students are advised to check admission deadline before applying at LCB. Since, it takes time to process the visa applications, international students are advsided to apply at least 12 weeks prior to the start of the course.
