- Check for eligibility: It is important to check eligibility to apply to the University of Oslo. This includes going through the basic eligibility criteria and the document requirements, too.

Yes, the student residence permit will allow University of Oslo students to work up to 20 hours a week. Students can also work full-time during holidays. Note that part-time work permit allows students to be an employee. They are not allowed to set up their own business while being on a student permit. Also note that while doing part-time work, students have to follow a normal study progression and complete 30 ECTS credits each semester.
