University of Stavanger Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria for application to the University of Stavanger are given below.

1. The student must have completed a minimum of 3 years of bachelor’s degree in the relevant field to apply for a master’s degree at UiS.
2. The applicant must have secured a minimum grade average comparable to a Norwegian C (equivalent to an Upper Second Class Honours degree in the British education system, or a B in the American education system) in their bachelor’s degree.

How to Apply to the University of Stavanger? 

The application process to the University of Stavanger begins online. Candidates need to register themselves on Søknadsweb and fulfil the admission requirements to get their application process completed. The steps to initiate the application process are given below.

1. Visit the Søknadsweb website and choose the login method “Login as International Applicant”.
2. Then, in the next step, click on “Register New International Applicant”.

University of Stavanger Deadlines

The application deadlines for admission to most of the courses available at the University of Stavanger have been exhausted between November 15 to December 01. However, applications to some performing arts and health science courses are still open or are going to be released soon.
