Tips: Before joining this college students should know the Russian method of education culture and rules of the Russian Federation. They should also know the university's requirements such as attending classes regularly renewing their visas and migrating on time. Students should also be aware of the dress code that must be followed when entering the campus. Finally students should have basic knowledge of the Russian language.
Likes (Public transportation): The fares are fixed within the city limits and a government website provides real time tracking of bus locations and arrival times which is especially helpful during the winter season. The payment system is secure and the overall quality of the transportation system is good.
Dislikes (Indian Food): For international students it can be difficult to adapt to the food culture because only Russian food is available. However there are kitchens in the hostel where you can cook your own food. Also there are new varieties of Russian food that are delicious so you might want to try them.

Tambov State University is an average university. The course needs some changes.
Tips: The language barrier makes it difficult to understand some subjects and the coursework is rigorous. If you fail an exam, you only have three attempts, and each attempt costs 21,000 rubles. If you fail an oral exam, you'll need to pay 21,000 rubles. If you study hard, you can pass the oral exams. If you fail all three attempts, you'll be expelled from the university. However, if you're fluent in Russian, you'll have great opportunities here. You'll have a good chance of getting a good salary and making contacts with Russians. The starting salary is good, but to get more you'll need to do postgraduate work here. Be prepared to take oral exams, as there are no written exams. You'll also need to learn Russian and cook your own meals. There are many events for Indians, such as Diwali, which is well celebrated here. I feel that practical knowledge is much more important than written exams, but this university doesn't provide much practical experience. You'll need to learn on your own, and some of the teachers only speak Russian, which makes it difficult to understand the subject matter.
Likes (Public transportation): We have continuous bus and cab service all over from morning till night and even after that. The bus fee is 27 but we can travel to every place with that. In some cars, we get cashback, and in some places, we can get free bus passes to travel for cycling or classes.
Dislikes (Internships): The school offers a limited number of internships and most of them are available only to students who are fluent in Russian. Also the internships tend to be more theoretical than practical which makes it difficult for students who are not fluent in Russian to get the most out of them. If you are fluent in Russian, you should be able to manage these internships.

Tambov State University is well regarded for its medical courses and has a good reputation.
Tips: Before joining this college students should know that determination and consistency in attending classes are key to success. It is also important to have a basic understanding of the Russian language and be willing to learn and improve it with the help of the Russian teachers at the university. Students should also be aware of the weather food Russian culture and the rules and regulations of the university. Finally students should learn to be independent. I felt safe on campus and while travelling by bus or train. There were police on every street security at the university and 24-hour security at the hostel. The people were friendly and treated me like a friend.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): I don't prefer permanent immigration because I don't speak the language well and I find the climate here to be very different from my home country. Also the food and groceries are not the same as in India and I have a hard time finding the things that I need.

Tips: Before joining, students should contact a senior student and ask them any questions they may have. It is better to bring some extra clothes and other items. Students should prepare for exams, as they are mostly oral. Students should also go to the hospital to practice. Learning Russian will take you to the next level. Tambov State University has affordable tuition, free accommodation, a mess hall for food, and an Indian restaurant with a wide variety of dishes. The campus is beautiful, and the facilities are modern. The university offers a wide range of courses and majors, and the faculty is very knowledgeable and helpful. There are a lot of part-time jobs available. I got my first job as a courier and bought a cycle, skate, scooter, and moped. Later, I bought a car that I could use for work. I bought everything I owned with the money I earned from my part-time jobs. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the course, university and the country.
